Reports
You will need to take the following steps immediately if you have not already done so. Authorizations will be blocked on January 31, 2012.
1. Log into your QuestionPoint administrator account. In the Administration module -> Forms -> Question Form tab, change the Open WorldCat Setting display link to "No" and if applicable, delete the link shown under Question Form URL.
2. Retrieve all reports/statistics you wish to retain from the service. You can retrieve any history older than 90 days by running the offline reports.
3. Remove all web links to the QuestionPoint service from your library web pages to prevent additional questions from coming into the service.
4. Edit the WorldCat Registry record for your institution.
Go to http://worldcat.org/registry/institutions and log in using a WorldCat.org, WebJunction, or OCLC Online Service Center log-in. Find the WorldCat Registry record for your institution and update the Services page called Virtual Reference. You can find it on the left hand side of the screen.
[Note: there may be another librarian at your institution that has one of the required log-ins to make this change. If you cannot identify anyone with one of these log-ins, please contact OCLC Support at support@oclc.org or call 1-800-848-5800 for assistance.]
Cumulative Reports
On this page we've put together the cumulative reports on the AskAway service. These are for the entire AskAway group, except South Central which generates it's own set of reports. There is a total annual report for each of the years we've participated in one way or another in the QuestionPoint service.
Please carefully note that these overview administrative reports only count specifically AskAway patrons and AskAway librarians. They for example do NOT count AskAway librarians answering non-AskAway patrons questions. For a more complete picture, and specifically for your library consult the Reports page which details how to pull the full reports of all actively but need to be pulled monthly yourselves. You'll note which category any of our statistics appears in changes over time to reflect which kind of QuestionPoint service we were using for that time period. We'll try to post these PDFs in 6 month increments and hope you find them useful.
